 Hello Ladies, My name is Francie Hawkins, I’m the creator of WomanUp home away from home for women of color, where resources and services are endless. 

​

You should know we are not just another empowerment organization. You already have the power we were born with it. Knowing that all that you need is already right inside you. 

 

I am inspired by the fact that you,

WON'T GIVE UP! From experience I know it almost seems easier.

 

We often hear that hard work, determination and strong-will, is all it will take, and by now you've discovered that it is going to take more then that. You are going to face obstacles, roadblocks, and seemly impossible beginnings in this life. You're gonna have a lack of support at times, money, confidence, and love.

 

And even then " GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION"

 

These things however, are important ingredients in the recipe for building resilience. Each time you make it through one of these challenges, you’re stronger, and you can take more on. Slowly building your self-worth until you become unstoppable. Each time it gets harder and harder to knock you down, and each time, you get up faster.

 

As your sister's we want to help you along this journey. So many of us suffer in silence. Today we stand united and together we will all be unstoppable. Generations are counting on our efforts. " Each one teach one"   Nothing will happen over night. With each step I am more than certain. Everything will turn out fine.
